Sacred Text for Prayer With the goal of opening ourselves to having communion with God, to nourishing our soul daily in prayer, we come to the Scriptures.
In the beginning, God created by speaking into existence. When praying the scriptures, you are speaking God's will into existence. As He hears the spoken Word, it causes Him to move. There is power in the spoken Word. Do not hesitiate to use the Scriptures as your prayer.
confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:6)
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice! (Phil 4:4)
Stand and see this great thing which the Lord will do before your eyes (1 Sam 12:16)
The things which are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27)
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (Jas 1:4)
God is not a man, that He should lie, Has He said, and will He not do it? (Num 23:19)
